Woodcutting guide to 99!

To start off with, you're going to need an axe. There are 3 ways of getting your hands on an axe.

1: To get a bronze axe, go to ::shops and trade with the shop keeper and buy yourself a bronze axe.



2: To get a rune axe, go to home (yanille), ::runecrafting, ::smithing or ::mining and buy yourself a rune axe from that shop keeper.



3: To get a dragon axe, go to ::dags and kill any of the three dagannoth kings there. They will each drop a dragon axe but at a 2% chance.



Once you acquire an axe, you can get started on woodcutting. Go to the magic tab (the one that looks like a book) and click on the 6th tele which should say:



Once there, you can make a start on cutting the tree north-west of the bank booth.



This table you will see below is the different stats of each log that you cut.

So as you see woodcutting will take a little bit of time with the last stretch from 75-99 but using this guide, you can find your woodcutting will go up easier and quicker. Also you can plan your time as to when you want to spend time doing woodcutting, knowing that it will take more than one session to get to 99.
