Agility?

Ok, I have had a question since I started training agility. What is the point?
It dosen't change the fact that you can run longer, because of infinite running.
Also, as far as I know, theres no shortcuts that require agility. Is it just for the
skillcape? If someone knows, could you please reply? Thanks.

It's just a skill that is for a bit of fun. That's all. There maybe an agility related requirement for a certain item or area. Like the crystal bow for example when it finally gets fixed.
